About the picks
Every gift is a real product you can buy today, on Amazon or at another well-known store, with today's price. A few labels you may see:
- 🔥 Trending: popular right now.
- ⭐ Top toy: one of this year's top toys.
- Off-brand: a lookalike of a famous brand, like "LEGO-compatible" bricks.
- ⚠ Marked up: a reseller is charging well above the usual price. Hot toys often sell out and get resold for more, so check other stores or wait for a restock.
Profiles and saved lists are stored only in this browser. When you share a list or send someone's profile to your phone, that one list or profile (first name, age, interests, gifts) is saved on SavvyPeep so the short link can open it. Searches use interests and age, never a name. Interest words may be counted (just the word) to improve suggestions. Visits, searches, shares and store clicks are counted anonymously (no names, ages or interests) so we can see what's working.
Why mix cheap and expensive gifts?
Most parents don't want all small stuff or one huge gift. "Mostly small plus one big" gives kids plenty to open while the budget goes mostly to the one thing they'll actually remember. Set the counts with the + and − buttons, and the planner picks the best gifts in each price range to match.
Common questions
How many gifts should I get my kid for Christmas?
There's no right number. A lot of families use the "want, need, wear, read" rule: four gifts, one of each. To plan it here, use the + and − buttons under "Occasion and gifts" so the total is 4 gifts, and add anything they already have to their "Skip these" list.
Are the prices current?
Prices come from the store when the search runs and can change. Searches are reused for up to 3 days, so always check the price at the store before you buy.
Can I plan for more than one person?
Yes. Add each person once (kids, teens, adults, grandparents), and switch between them with the name buttons at the top. Each person keeps their own saved lists.
